Lamborghini intros luxury Android smartphone (TL700), tablet (L2800)

Do you lust after a luxury cellular experience from your favorite import car maker, and the Porsche-branded BlackBerry just didn’t cut it for you? Lamborghini and Android may be the perfect combination for you, as the Italian-based sports care manufacturer has announced an Android smartphone and tablet for the Russian market.
The Lamborghini TL700 handset features a 3.7″ WVGA Sapphire Crystal display, unknown Qualcomm processor, 5 megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 4GB memory, 1,400 mAh battery, and the now antiquated Android 2.3 Gingerbread. While the specs reek of yesteryear, the casing for the phone is made out both gold and crocodile skin, which I guess makes up for the paltry internals. The device will retail for 90,000 RUB, or about $2,750 USD.
The Lamborghini L2800 tablet also runs Android 2.3, but has a confirmed Android 4.0 update coming “eventually.” The specs are equally unimpressive, with a 9.7″ 1,024 x 768 sapphire crystal display, 1.2 GHz unnamed Qualcomm processor, 5 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 512 MB RAM, and 4GB ROM. The L2800 is assuredly not made out of gold, but it’s actually the slicker looking of the two devices (not that you or I will be picking one of these up). The L2800 looks a lot like currently available tablets, though adds some of that Lamborghini flair.
We have to ask; either of these two devices appeal to any of you out there?
