China hits staggering 1 billion mobile subscribers
As the smartphone market continues to grow and
we become increasingly dependant on our portable blowers, China has surpassed
the unparalleled one billion mobile subscribers, new figures have revealed.
Confirmed by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the notoriously tight-lipped and internet restricting nation has revealed that as of the end of February 2012 there were 1.01 billion mobile phone subscriptions within the country.
Continuing the country’s rapid rise to mobile phone adoption, sparked by a drop in handset prices and subscription fees, the new landmark saw almost 100 million users added to the 900.4 million subscribers recorded in April 2011.
Whilst Chinese mobile subscriptions continue to rise, as a result the nation’s fixed line services have been reduced with 828,000 fewer landline subscriptions help now than this time last year.

Does this mean that we will finally get to an end of knock offs and the dawn of sold Chinese phone manufacturers with revolutionary technology just like the Japanese? Well, so many questions but we can rest assured that knowing that a majority of global manufacturers will definitely have to do the "red dragon" dance and the rest of the consumers will definitely enjoy the Chinese taste.
